Work and Education
I currently work on geospatial data science at the Fraym which is based in Washington, D.C. I am passionate about cloud computing, data engineering and, maintain a keen interest in the intersection of data science, and GIS. In my day job, I am responsible for building and maintaining pipelines that plumb data from various sources into our machine learning systems. In my free time, I like to build things with wood, program single board computers, and watch soccer.

Data Scientist
I started working at Fraym in the summer of 2019. I was hired to help with data sourcing, validation and plumbing. Over the years, I've worked on creating data pipelines, building machine learning infrastructure and automating the flow of data through the pipeline.

Research Associate
After completing my Masters in the spring of 2018, I joined the Rady School of Management at the University of California, San Diego. I was hired by Professor Michael Callen to help with his Mobile Salaries Payments project for Afghanistan. I was responsible for data analysis, and engaging with policy makers on project implementation. June 2018

Master of Internatinal Affairs
I graduated from the School of Global Policy and Strategy at the University of California, San Diego in May of 2018. I focused on developement economics, econometrics and internatinal developement. I also took to learn Spanish and economic policy in Latin America.

Teaching and Research Assistant
While in graduate school, I worked both as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant. As a TA, I taught Quantitative Methods II, which (introduced students to regression analysis, and Quantitative Methods III; panel data analysis, time series, and causal inference. As a Graduate Research Assistant, I worked on a project that tried quantify the effects of temperature on economic output with Professor Kate Ricke.

Research Associate
I worked at the International Livestock Research Institute in Nairobi from the spring of 2013 to fall of 2016. I was responsible for managing a large scale field data collection in Northern Kenya and Southern Ethiopia. I also worked on a Cornell University led research project on using machine learning to incentivize crowd scientists working to collect data on rangeland conditions.
